The Investigative Committee is checking the managers of the Eksmo publishing house for receiving bribes from Popcorn Books employees. TASS reports this with reference to a source in law enforcement agencies. A pre-investigation check is being carried out into the possible receipt and giving of bribes. According to the publication’s interlocutor, the general director of Eksmo, Evgeny Kapyev, was questioned, as well as other managers of the publishing house, who remain in the status of witnesses.

A protocol was drawn up against sports commentator Alexander Shmurnov under an administrative article on cooperation with an “undesirable” organization.
