Lawyers of the Committee against Torture detained in Grozny
In Grozny, the police detained two lawyers from the human rights organization Committee Against Torture. Pavel Chikov, head of the Agora human rights organization, announced this on his Twitter. The lawyers, Chikov wrote, were confiscated all office equipment and taken to the police station. On the evening of December 13, the office of human rights activists from the Committee Against Torture, which is located in an apartment in a residential building, was set on fire in Grozny.
