The first Brodsky Museum opened in the Arkhangelsk region
On Wednesday, April 8, the world's first museum of Joseph Brodsky opened in the village of Norinskaya, Konoshsky District, Arkhangelsk Region. The poet was exiled there from March 1964 to October 1965. The interior of the house where Brodsky lived was restored according to the memoirs of the literary critic Mikhail Meilakh. There is genuine furniture: a table, a chair, a bed, a sofa, a kerosene lamp, a tank for developing photographic film.
