Russian NHL hockey player sentenced to 90 days in prison
The court sentenced Los Angeles Kings defender Vyacheslav Voinov to 90 days in prison on charges of domestic violence. Voynov was also sentenced to a $700 fine, three years' probation, and eight hours of community service. In addition, the Russian hockey player must complete a 52-week course against domestic violence. Voinov's wife, Marta Varlamova, who became a victim of domestic violence, did not comment on the court's decision.
