The launch of the show with Alina Kabaeva on Channel One was disrupted due to sanctions
The BBC Corporation refused to sell Channel One and the Red Square company the rights to show the Tumble show, in which celebrities try their hand at gymnastics. According to Forbes, citing sources, the British refused the deal because the owner of a quarter of Channel One, Yuri Kovalchuk, and Arkady Rotenberg, who owns the Red Square company, are under EU sanctions. The producers planned to make gymnast Alina Kabaeva the host of the Russian version of the show.
