Putin proposed to the State Duma to ban the search for extremism in the Koran and the Bible
Russian President Vladimir Putin submitted a draft amendment to the State Duma that prohibits the main sacred texts of Christians, Muslims, Jews and Buddhists from being recognized as extremist. “The Bible, Koran, Tanakh and Kanjur, their content and quotes from them cannot be recognized as extremist materials,” the draft amendments to the law on combating extremist activity say.
