Bomb found on board Air France Boeing turned out to be a fake
An object found by a passenger in the toilet of an Air France Boeing 777 turned out to be a dummy bomb. This was stated by the general director of the airline, Frederic Gage. Earlier, the media, citing a statement by the Kenyan authorities, reported that an explosive device was found on board the liner. Subsequently, the Kenyan authorities edited the message to which the publications referred. According to Gage, the fake bomb was made from cardboard, paper and a timer.
