The court ordered the widow of a military man killed in Chechnya to return a survivor's pension of 626 thousand rubles
In Nizhny Novgorod, a court ordered the widow of a serviceman who died in Chechnya, Yevgenia Teryaeva, to return to the state 626,000 rubles received over four years as a survivor's pension. The decision was made on 11 April. The court ruled that Teryaeva received a pension illegally, since she is a servicewoman. The claim of the Nizhny Novgorod Regional Military Commissariat against Teryaeva was partially satisfied - the court refused to pay interest in the amount of 85.5 thousand rubles.
