Anton Romeiko-Gurko, deputy head of the internal security department of the Russian Interior Ministry, has resigned, Interfax reports. Interior Minister Vladimir Kolokoltsev decided to dismiss Romeiko-Gurko. The resignation is connected with the detention of the head of the regional department of internal security of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in St. Petersburg, Colonel Yuri Timchenko, for a bribe of 100 million rubles.
