Lawyer: a defendant in the case of a terrorist attack in St. Petersburg was forced to retract his words about the FSB “secret prison”
FSB officers forced Abror Azimov, accused in the case of the terrorist attack in the St. Petersburg metro, "to renounce claims regarding torture in a secret prison," his lawyer Dmitry Dinze said. According to the lawyer, FSB operatives forced Azimov to write a corresponding statement, threatening physical reprisals "against him and his relatives." He added that the operatives “go [to his client] all the time,” although he repeatedly petitioned for a ban on this.
