Established in 2017, the Expert Institute for Social Research (EISI), dubbed the Kremlin's "expert platform", will receive hundreds of millions of rubles from state-owned companies, including Rosatom and RusHydro. This was reported on September 6 by The Bell, citing sources close to the institute and these companies. According to The Bell, EISI will receive about 400 million rubles from RusHydro and a “comparable” amount from Rosatom.
