RBC: the government will propose raising the retirement age for men by five years, for women by eight
The Russian government will approve the concept of pension reform, which provides for raising the retirement age to 65 for men and 63 for women, RBC reports citing three sources. At the same time, a milder option for women has not yet been ruled out, in which the retirement age for them will be proposed to be raised to 60 years, one of RBC's interlocutors said. It is assumed that during the pension reform, most of the existing retirement benefits will be preserved, writes RBC.
