In the Voronezh region, two passenger buses collided on the Don highway. As a result of the accident, five people died, 23 people were sent to hospitals, the regional health department said. Earlier, an Interfax source in emergency services announced 40 victims. What caused the accident has yet to be revealed. The buses traveled "from Moscow to the Stavropol Territory and Karachay-Cherkessia," the Interior Ministry said.
