On February 9, the Golovinsky Court of Moscow refused to arrest MSU Mechanics and Mathematics postgraduate student Azat Miftakhov, who has been in police custody for over a week and, according to his own words, was tortured there. The court extended his detention for another 72 hours, giving the defense time to collect characterizing materials, Mediazona reports . The investigation requested Miftakhov's arrest in connection with the arson of the United Russia office in Moscow in January 2018.
