Five business associations have appealed to the head of the Investigative Committee, Alexander Bastrykin, with a request to change the measure of restraint for the founder of the Baring Vostok investment fund, Michael Calvey. They are asking to transfer him to house arrest, RBC reports. “We signed a letter addressed to Bastrykin, where we ask to change the measure of restraint and release the man on bail,” said Alexis Rodzianko, President of the American Chamber of Commerce in Russia (AmCham).
