Moscow City Hall Refused to Allow Libertarian Party to Hold Rally in Support of Ivan Golunov on Sakharov Avenue
The Moscow City Hall refused to approve a rally in support of Ivan Golunov and against political repression on Sakharov Avenue on June 23, the applicants for which were the Libertarian Party of Moscow and the Trade Union of Journalists and Media Workers. Instead, the mayor's office proposed moving the event, with a declared number of 20,000 participants, to a site in Sokolniki, which can accommodate about a thousand people, the party told Interfax.
