Rosstat employee resigns after 45 years of service over premature publication of inflation data
The head of the Rosstat statistical information processing center , Evgeny Sychev, resigned of his own accord, Interfax reports, citing the press service of the Ministry of Economic Development. The Minister of Economic Development Maxim Oreshkin, the department noted, “was not satisfied with the poor financial and economic condition of the enterprise and a number of organizational problems,” which, among other things, led to the premature publication of inflation data.
