The Investigative Committee dropped the case against a teenager from Tomsk. He faced up to two years in prison for hitting a car that hit his dog.
The criminal case against Danila Safronov, a 16-year-old resident of Tomsk, who hit his hand on the hood of a car that hit his dog, has been dropped. As announced by the Investigative Committee, Safronov caused minor damage to the car, for which no criminal liability is provided. The case was dismissed for lack of corpus delicti. In June 2019, Safronov repeatedly hit the hood of an SUV that hit his puppy. The driver of the car apologized, but then reported the teenager to the police.
