Due to self-isolation, Russians stopped buying healthy food. But they started eating a lot more chips
Against the backdrop of the regime of self-isolation, Russians have reduced the consumption of products for a healthy diet, while the consumption of products considered unhealthy has increased. This is evidenced by the data of the Nielsen study. According to the study, from March 2 to April 5, sales of sunflower seeds (+31%), chips (+22%) and ice cream (+15%) increased significantly.
