Due to coronavirus, pubs are closed in the UK and there is nowhere to drink. But there is good news - in some places beer is now being given away for free.
Alnwick, a small brewery in Northumberland, UK, has announced that it will be giving away its beer to everyone. Writes about it BBC News. The company brews beer for bottling in pubs and bars, which are now closed due to quarantine. Such beer has a short shelf life, only a few weeks, so in order for it not to go to waste, the brewery decided to simply distribute it. There are only two conditions for obtaining beer - come with your container and donate any amount to the National Health Service.
