Azerbaijan Blocks Many Social Networks and Messengers. Authorities Say Internet Restrictions Are "Provocations from Armenia"
The Azerbaijani authorities have blocked social networks and messengers amid the escalation of the conflict with Armenia. This was reported on September 27 by the organization Netblocks, which monitors the availability of the Internet around the world. According to Netblocks, the social networks blocked were Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, messengers WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, Skype and Zoom, and video hosting YouTube.
