In September, the death rate from coronavirus infection increased by a quarter compared to August. This is reported by Interfax with reference to Rosstat data. According to the statistics of the department, in September, COVID-19 was recorded as both the main and non-main causes of death in 9,798 people. “As the main cause of death - in 5,199 people, of which 870 have not yet been identified coronavirus, but is the probable cause of death,” writes Interfax.
