Residents of Bavaria are required to wear FFP2 respirators in public places. Authorities will discuss whether to extend this requirement throughout Germany
From January 18, in Bavaria, Germany's largest federal state, the requirement to wear FFP2 high-protection respirators when traveling on public transport and when visiting shops came into force, reports The Guardian. The new rule does not apply to bus drivers, ticket inspectors and children under the age of 15. Until January 24, Bavaria will not monitor compliance with this requirement.
