The US Congress approved a $1.9 trillion plan to support the American economy, which provides direct payments of $1,400 to most Americans, reports Reuters. The House of Representatives, which had previously approved the bill, met again on March 10 to approve the amendments made by the Senate (the senators approved the document on March 7). 220 members of the House of Representatives voted for the adoption of the law, 211 parliamentarians opposed.
