Former Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili, who is on hunger strike in a Georgian prison, collapsed and lost consciousness during a meeting with lawyers. One of his defenders, Beka Basilaya, spoke about this, Sputnik Georgia reports. According to Basilai, Saakashvili stumbled and fell as he left the premises to meet with lawyers. After the fall, he did not open his eyes and did not react to anything, Basilaya said. Saakashvili was taken away on a stretcher.
