DLBI: Personal data on the darknet has become two to four times more expensive in 2021
Data Leakage & Breach Intelligence ( DLBI ) reported that the cost of “breaching,” or illegally obtaining personal data of citizens, more than doubled in 2021. DLBI announced the release of a review of the Russian black market for “breaching,” with some of the data presented by the Kommersant newspaper. The median cost of purchasing data from bank clients, mobile operators, and government agencies has increased from approximately 7,000 to 18,000 rubles over the year.
