The jury found the defendants in the case of cocaine smuggling from Argentina guilty, but deserving of leniency
A panel of jurors returned a verdict to four defendants in a criminal case involving the supply of cocaine from Argentina to Russia and European countries. Interfax was told about this by the press service of the Dorogomilovsky Court of Moscow. The jury found Andrei Kovalchuk, Viktor Kalmykov, Ali Abyanov and Ishtimir Khudzhamov guilty, but deserving of leniency. All four were charged with attempted smuggling, illegal production, sale or transfer of drugs on an especially large scale.
