Rosstat records new coronavirus mortality record. More than 80,000 people died in November
In November 2021, 87,527 people diagnosed with COVID-19 died in Russia, Rosstat reported. In 80,126 deaths, the disease was definitely or presumably the main cause of death. In 1,477 patients, it caused complications that accelerated death. In 5,924 people, COVID was a concomitant disease, but did not affect the onset of death. Thus, in November, Russia once again broke the monthly record for coronavirus mortality.
