Former Deputy Minister of Education Marina Rakova, who is accused of fraud, saved the life of her cellmate in the Pechatniki pretrial detention center. This was reported by TASS, citing Moscow POC member Eva Merkacheva. According to Merkacheva, one of Rakova's cellmates attempted suicide. "When the former official saw this, she gave her cellmate first aid and called the guards, which helped prevent the tragedy," Merkacheva noted.
