Coffee chain Starbucks announced its withdrawal from the Russian market
Starbucks stops working in Russia, Interfax reports , citing a statement from the company. The brand will no longer be represented in the Russian market, Starbucks said, adding that the company will continue to support its 2,000 employees in Russia, including payments for six months and assistance with employment. As of mid-February, there were 130 Starbucks coffee shops in Russia, the first of which opened in 2007.
