"They told me right away: you won't live." Ukrainian paramedic Yulia Paevskaya (call sign Tayra) spoke about Russian captivity
Ukrainian paramedic Yulia Paevskaya (call sign Tayra), who was released from Russian captivity in mid-June, spoke in an interview with Deutsche Welle about the conditions in which Ukrainian prisoners are being held. According to Tyra, she was treated “terribly” in captivity, and was not provided with “any things comfortable for a woman,” telephone service, or medical care. I had nothing. What I had on was one set of underwear, some pants, sneakers and some clothes, and that was it.
