The Prosecutor General's Office of the Russian Federation uses Internet access “without Roskomnadzor blocking.” This became clear during the consideration of Meduza’s lawsuit.
On July 5, the Tagansky District Court of Moscow considered Meduza's lawsuit against Roskomnadzor and the Prosecutor General's Office to recognize their actions to block the publication's website as illegal. As Sergey Badamshin, representing the interests of Meduza, recalls, the site was blocked twice: first on March 4, 2022, at the initiative of Roskomnadzor, and then on March 16, 2022, the Prosecutor General’s Office issued a request to restrict access again.
