World Chess Champion Magnus Karlsen surrendered in the party with 19-year-old Hans Niman, making one move with a horse
The world chess champion Norwegian Magnus Karlsen was defeated by the American Hans Nimann at the Champions Chess Tour online tournament. According to Vice, the match went virtually through Microsoft Teams and on the chess online platform Chess24. Carlsen, who played with blacks, surrendered after the opponent made a second move, leaving a second pawn forward. The Norwegian himself, thus, made one move with a horse (KG8-F6). Without saying anything, Carlsen turned off the webcam.
