BBC and Mediazona confirmed the death of almost nine thousand Russian soldiers in Ukraine. More than 150 of them were mobilized
The BBC Russian Service, together with Mediazona, established from open sources that as of November 11, more than 8,712 Russian servicemen had died in Ukraine. According to the BBC, at least 163 of the dead were mobilized. Another 35 of them died in Russia before being sent to the front. The publication names heart disease, accidents and alcohol abuse as the main causes of death among mobilized soldiers in military units.
