The court returned to the army a mobilized resident of St. Petersburg who left the military unit by taxi. He is seeking transfer to alternative service
The city court of St. Petersburg rejected the appeal of 27-year-old Kirill Berezin, who, after being called up for mobilization, refused to take up arms, fled the military unit and demanded that he be transferred to alternative civilian service. This is reported by Fontanka, referring to the lawyer Nikifor Ivanov. Berezin, in his complaint, challenged the decision of the court of first instance, which considered it lawful that he was called up as part of the mobilization.
