Foreign manufacturers refused to supply “Russian” processors “Baikal” and “Elbrus” to Russia
Foreign manufacturers who produce Baikal and Elbrus processors on Russian orders, due to international sanctions, refused to execute these orders, including shipping the already made chips. This was reported by Kommersant with reference to the head of the Ministry of Digital Development of the Russian Federation, Maksuta Shadaev. In total, according to the minister, about 23 thousand computers, servers and data storage systems on Russian processors were manufactured in 2022.
