House committee recommends prosecuting Donald Trump over Capitol attack
The House Select Committee investigating the January 2021 storming of the Capitol has recommended criminal charges against former President Donald Trump. The charges, the committee believes, include armed insurrection, conspiracy to commit false statements, conspiracy to defraud the federal government and obstruction of official process.
