The Insider: forests are being cut down in Moscow to accommodate air defense systems
In three districts of Moscow, sites have been cleared for the needs of the Russian Ministry of Defense, and air defense systems have already been placed on two of them, according to The Insider. According to the publication, at the end of 2022, one of the sites began to be equipped on the experimental fields of the Timiryazev Agricultural Academy. There is no continuous forest, so the builders simply leveled the ground and filled everything with asphalt.
