The Orthodox Church of Ukraine (PCU) is considering the possibility of moving to a new calendar. On it, for example, Christmas will be celebrated on December 25, not January 7th. The decision on the transition, said the head of the PCU, Metropolitan Epiphanius, will be accepted at the Bishop Cathedral in May. “The embodiment of this reform will primarily allow you to switch to a more accurate calendar and avoid the gradual displacement of motionless holidays in the future.
