Data on a sharp increase in the number of men with disabilities in the Russian Federation turned out to be due to an error by the Social Fund
The Russian Social Fund has corrected data on the record number of men with disabilities for 2023, writes Mediazona. On March 14, Verstka, citing these data, reported that in 2023, 2.17 million men aged 31 to 59 had disabilities. This is 30% more than in 2022, when 1.67 million men in this age group had disabilities in Russia. Over the year, the figure increased by 507 thousand, which was a record increase over the past eight years, the publication noted.
