In Poland, Maximilian K. and Igor Ts., suspected of attacking politician Leonid Volkov in Vilnius in March 2024, were released on bail, the Agency reported, citing the Polish prosecutor's office. On October 9, a court in Poland ruled that two suspects in the attack on Volkov could be released from custody on bail of 50 thousand zlotys ($12,700). The prosecutor's office was unable to appeal this decision.
