The Central Bank of the Russian Federation left Raiffeisenbank and UniCredit on the list of systemically important banks
The Central Bank of Russia announced on November 2 that it had approved a list of systemically important credit institutions. The regulator retained the previously valid list without making any changes. The list includes 13 banks: UniCredit, Gazprombank, Sovcombank, VTB, Alfa Bank, Sberbank, MKB, FC Otkritie, T-Bank, Rosbank, Promsvyazbank, Raiffeisenbank and Rosselkhozbank. The list includes the Italian UniCredit and the Austrian Raiffeisenbank, which plan to sell their business in Russia.
