In the Kurgan region, 68-year-old Jehovah's Witness Alexander Lubin from Shadrinsk, convicted in a case of “extremism,” died, the European Association of Jehovah's Witnesses told Mediazona. According to the publication, Lubin died on November 11. A month earlier, on October 8, the Shadrinsky District Court sentenced a pensioner to a fine of 500 thousand rubles in the case of organizing the activities of an extremist organization (Part 1 of Article 282.2 of the Criminal Code).
