Russia and Iran signed a strategic partnership agreement. It does not provide for military assistance in case of aggression.
Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian and Russian President Vladimir Putin signed an agreement on a comprehensive strategic partnership, the Kremlin press service reported. The agreement between the countries, as TASS writes, “covers all areas, including defense, counter-terrorism, energy, finance, transport, industry, agriculture, culture, science and technology.” Iranian Ambassador to Russia Kazem Jalali reported that the document consists of 47 articles.
