In the first reading, the Diet of Latvia approved a bill prohibiting citizens of Russia and Belarus to acquire real estate in the country, reports LSM. In accordance with the document, real estate in Latvia will not be able to acquire both citizens of the Russian Federation and Belarus, and companies, more than 25% in which belongs to citizens of these countries.
