“Enough with the violence. Enough death. Enough hate." 84-year-old siege survivor Lyudmila Vasilyeva, who opposes the war, called for a quiet protest
84-year-old St. Petersburg resident Lyudmila Vasilyeva, who survived the siege of Leningrad, recorded a video message in which she called for a quiet protest. The entry appeared in the telegram channel “Noon for Peace” on March 1. During the address, Vasilyeva showed a chamomile, “a simple flower of peace.” According to her, on the first day of spring “I want warmth, kindness, peace, I want to give up hatred.” I want to say one word - enough is enough! Enough. Enough violence. Enough death.
