Ali Khamenei's widow is alive, Iranian Fars agency reported. For 10 days it was believed that she died along with her husband
Iran's Fars news agency reported on March 12 that Mansoureh Khojasteh, the wife of Iran's former Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, was alive. “Initial news of her death was erroneous,” Fars said in a statement. Iranian state media reported on March 2 that Mansoureh Khojasteh was killed in a strike on Ali Khamenei's residence on February 28, at the start of the US-Israel war with Iran. The strike reportedly killed Ali Khamenei, his daughter, son-in-law and grandson.
