Russian President Vladimir Putin met with Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi at the Presidential Library in St. Petersburg on April 27, Interfax reports. During the open part of the talks, Putin said Russia would “do everything” to ensure peace in the Middle East is achieved as quickly as possible. Araghchi, in turn, said that for Iran, relations with Russia are “a strategic partnership at the highest level.” The open part of the negotiations lasted just over five minutes.
