Bloomberg: Iran launches missile attack on US air base in Kuwait
Iran launched a missile attack on the Ali Al-Salem airbase in Kuwait, which is used by the US Air Force, Bloomberg reports, citing informed sources. The ballistic missile, according to the publication’s interlocutors, was shot down by Kuwait’s air defense on May 30, but the debris fell on the base, damaging, among other things, two MQ-9 Reaper attack drones. The cost of one such drone, according to open sources, can reach up to $30 million.
