Apple raised prices for MacBooks and iPads
Apple raised prices on MacBooks, iPads and other devices by about 20% due to rising costs of memory chips and storage devices. Bloomberg reports this. In particular, the cost of the MacBook Neo has increased from $599 to $699, the 13-inch MacBook Air from $1,099 to $1,299, the 14-inch Macbook Pro from $1,699 to $1,999, and the 16-inch MacBook Pro now starts at $2,999. The price for the 11-inch iPad Pro increased from $999 to $1,199, and for the 13-inch model from $1,299 to $1,499.
