The Kaliningrad sea canal due to the stormy wind, which has fallen today to the western Russian region, is closed to shipping. According to ITARS-TASS in the Service Management Service, now the wind speed in the channel in the area of the city of Baltiysk reaches 19 meters per second, which exceeds the norms of safe passage of ships. The wind prevented four vessels from leaving the Kaliningrad ports in the morning, several more, heading to the ports, took refuge in the Baltic Sea Bays.
